Family Living Weekly #2

Hey everyone and welcome to another edition of Family Living Weekly. I realize it has been a while since I have put one out but there has been so much going on in life that I haven’t had time to sit down and write.

Baby Life

Well, let’s get right down to things, we continue to be spoiled by our new born daughter Savannah and vice versa. She is 2 months and going on 2 weeks now. It’s amazing how much bigger she has gotten since birth. She gets a general check up with the pediatrician this week so we are excited to see what her official weight is now. She recently got to meet her Washington State relatives, an uncle and aunt and her 3 cousins when they were visiting Mississippi. She has a routine that we are getting used to and even her sleep schedule is more or less, quite regular and will sleep for 4-5 hours during the night, maybe even the occasional six at times.

Health & Fitness

Playing daddy daycare, I haven’t had the opportunity to get to the gym as much but I am hoping to get that turned around thanks to some help from a family friend who comes over and takes care of Savannah a couple of times a week. It allows me to get some stuff done like blogging and I just need to work my workout routine into the schedule. I have started doing some yoga to help out with my running, I have heard from a lot of people that it helps to prevent injury.


Thanks to my new Kindle I have really enjoyed reading a lot. I am bouncing through several books right now instead of choosing one and reading it through. I will have a more extensive list of just what I’m reading, here next week.
